Pain control
Your child’s comfort is always a priority. Dr. Kate and Dr. Sara take a gentle, careful approach when administering local anesthetic, using techniques designed to make treatment as comfortable as possible.
After treatment, numbness typically lasts about 1 to 3 hours, although this can vary from child to child. During that time, we ask parents to keep a close eye on their child to help prevent chewing or biting of the lips, cheeks, or tongue, which can lead to accidental irritation or injury.
