For over a decade, we have cared for children and families in Darien and surrounding communities. We take a thoughtful, unhurried approach to care, allowing each child to feel comfortable and at ease.

Thank you for choosing Darien Pediatric Dentistry as your children's dental home. We have proudly cared for families in Darien and surrounding towns since 2010. Our spacious office is equipped with the latest technology to provide comprehensive care for children of all ages, from infancy through adolescence, in a warm and family-friendly environment.
We offer convenient Saturday hours, and Dr. Kate and Dr. Sara — both local moms — are available for emergency calls 7 days a week. Our knowledgeable team is dedicated to creating positive experiences in a caring, safe, and child-friendly setting.
With a philosophy centered on prevention, education, and early intervention, we provide individualized care while building lasting relationships with the families we serve. Many of our patients first came to us as toddlers and remain with us through their college years.
Meet Our Team
Dr. Kate Kiguradze, DDS, MPH
Pediatric Dentist
Dr. Kate Kiguradze is the founder of Darien Pediatric Dentistry and a board-certified pediatric dentist, recognized as a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine and completed three additional years of advanced training in general practice and pediatric dentistry at Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore Medical Center.
As both a pediatric dentist and a mother, Dr. Kate understands how important it is for children to feel safe, comfortable, and truly cared for. She founded Darien Pediatric Dentistry to create a warm and welcoming dental home for infants, children, and adolescents, with a focus on exceptional care and a thoughtful, conservative approach to treatment recommendations.
Dr. Kiguradze also holds a Master’s degree in public health from Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health. She has served as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Dentistry at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine and as clinical faculty at the pediatric dental residency program at Yale New Haven Hospital. She is a recipient of the Richard C. Pugh Achievement Award, a national honor presented by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry to pediatric dentists who scored in the top 3% nationwide on the board’s qualifying examination.

Dr. Sara Golkari, DMD
Pediatric Dentist
Dr. Sara Golkari is thrilled to have joined Darien Pediatric Dentistry after six wonderful years of practicing pediatric dentistry. Dr. Sara is a board-certified pediatric dentist and Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
She earned her Bachelor’s degree, magna cum laude, from Tufts University and her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree, summa cum laude, from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. She was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon and Honos Civicus for academic excellence and civic leadership.
Inspired by her mother’s love for pediatric dentistry, Dr. Sara pursued her specialty training at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital—one of the top-ranked children’s hospitals in the country—where she earned her Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry. During her time in Philadelphia, she was honored as a Top Dentist by Philadelphia Magazine for three consecutive years.
Having once been a nervous dental patient herself, Dr. Sara understands how to help children feel comfortable and safe. Dr. Sara has had the privilege of working with families in both Philadelphia and Chicago, building strong relationships and honing her warm, approachable style of care.
Outside the office, she enjoys time with her husband, Will, their daughter, Layla, and their sweet dog, Boo.
Kate Lamb, RDH
Dental Hygienist
Kate is a CT native. Since graduating from the Fones School of Dental Hygiene in 2010, Kate has been working as a dental hygienist in pediatric offices in CT and NY. She has always loved working with children.
In her free time she enjoys camping, gardening, going to concerts, paddling, biking, and rock-climbing. She loves exploring National Parks with her husband and being a mom to her baby daughter, dog, and dozens of house plants.
